Week four review

Things to consider

Q. How well do you feel you completed the requirements of the week’s assignments?

A. I did not to the required assignments this week. I did look at the prescribed stuff to take notes on but didn’t get around to making the notes until the dead line was over. After looking at the policy for late work and reseeing that there are no points for late work, I decided not to bother. This is the wrong way to go about things, but I’m feeling a little apathetic and don’t think it will hurt me that bad to miss one assignment. Next week will be better. “scout’s honor” for what it’s worth.

Q. What gave you trouble? How did you work your way through that? What did you enjoy most? What did you learn? What else did you learn?

A. Writing notes about generic stuff was hard. Trying to make it sound not directly copied from another source wasn’t easy. Didn’t do the assigned post so I didn’t really work through my difficulties. Doing personal post is still fun for me. Didn’t really learn anything.

Q. What would you do differently? What questions do you have?

A. I might have tried harder to get the assignment done. How badly will this hurt my grade?

Questions I have: When do we start talking about our individual projects?

Taken from the course statement: “Starting about Week 7 – 8 or 9, I’ll ask you to design and pursue your own project, one that continues our study of weblogs, wikis, or another social media phenomenon as suggested by the materials we’ve been working with.”

We’re starting week 6, so almost there!
